Writing Practice: Hardware

In this activity, learners will practice their handwriting and spelling skills using the new hardware vocabulary they learned in the previous activities in this sequence. First, they will learn how to spell and write one of the new words. Then, they will complete a sentence using the word. There are 20 variations of the activity–one for each word.

Materials

  • Pencil

Instructions

  1. Print out the Learner’s Sheet pages.
  2. Gather your supplies.
  3. Give your learner one of the writing practice sheets.
  4. Tell your learner about this activity: “Today, you’re going to practice your
    handwriting and spelling! On this sheet, you will practice writing one of the new hardware words you have learned. Then, you will complete a sentence using the word.”
